Dr. Wan Himratul was graduated from University Malaya Medical Centre and honoured with Bachelor in Medical and Bachelor in Surgery. She continued postgraduate study in UM and was honoured with Masters in Internal Medicine.

During her 11 years experience, she has been exposed to various aspects of medicine with vast exposure in all levels and areas of medicine, from the villages in Alor Setar to the heart of Malaysia Kuala Lumpur handling cases from poisoning, animal bites, all the way to chronic illnesses. She also has extensive experience with tropical medicine pathologies.

Continued her subspecialty training gaining experience in geriatric medicine, nutrition, health and wellbeing and especially cardiology where she was leading the cardiac nuclear team of UM and collaborating with UPM for the latest technology in radioactive and nuclear cardiac scanning. She has many internationally published papers on this.
