About the Doctor |
Dr. Aldrin Lie is a resident Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist and Fertility Specialist with TMC Fertility Centre in Tropicana Medical Centre since 2007. Since then he has been actively involved in providing fertility services for couples with various fertility issues. This includes providing fertility consultations, diagnostic and therapeutic laparoscopic procedures, intra-uterine insemination services (IUI) and in-vitro fertilization (IVF) services. He is also an active participant and contributor to the various researches done by the fertility centre. Not forgetting his role as an Obstetrician and Gynaecologist, a good part of his clinical practice also caters to general gynaecological work as well as care for the pregnant mums. He too has been invited to speak on various public forums as well as an active advocate of breast and cervical cancer awareness. Prior to joining TMC fertility, he was attached as a Clinical Specialist in Hospital Tunku Jaafar, Seremban where he was in charge of the fertility unit and also a Honorary Lecturer in Obstetrics and Gynaecology with the International Medical University (IMU). |

Dr. Arifah has served in various hospitals and health clinics while she was with the Ministry of Health Malaysia before joining Tropicana Medical Centre. The experience and skills she obtained throughout her practice over the years had equipped her with the capability to manage minor as well as major and complicated cases. Dr. Arifah provides a wide range of services in general obstetrics and gynaecology. Besides that, she holds special interest in minimally invasive surgery (laparoscopy). About the Doctor |
Dr. Dev Menon is a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynecologist who is a specialist in Reproductive Endocrinology, Assisted Reproductive Technology and Therapeutic Laparoscopy. He graduated from the University of Nottingham Medical School in the United Kingdom with honors and obtained his MRCOG from London. With over 17 years of experience in practicing medicine, he has worked extensively in the United Kingdom including the London Fertility Centre (Harley Street, London), as well as at the University Malaya Medical Centre and Damansara Fertility Centre. He was responsible for training the doctors attempting the masters in O&G at University Malaya. Dr. Menon lectures at workshops for the local medical communities and is frequently invited to speak at various workshops for medical practitioners in Malaysia. He has published papers on various local and international medical publications, and sits as a committee member on the board of the Malaysian Society For Assisted Reproductive Technology (MSART). He is now a Consultant O&G at Tropicana Medical Centre. Dr. Menon's clinical pregnancy rates following IVF treatment at TMC are currently on par with the leading fertility centers around the world. |

Dr. Hoo Mei Lin, graduated with MBBS from New South Wales, Australia in 1998. Since then, she has worked in the field Obstetrics & Gynaecology with the Ministry of Health in Malaysia. After obtaining her membership with the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists UK, she went on to obtain her Fellowship in Minimal Access Surgery from KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital, Singapore.
In 2011, she joined Tropicana Medical Centre as one of their resident Obstetrician and Gynaecologist. She provides a wide range of services in both obstetrics (caring for the pregnant mummy to the delivery of baby) and gynaecology (screening, management of problematic periods, investigation of recurrent miscarriages as well as the initial investigations for fertility problems).

Dr. Navdeep Singh Pannu has been in the field of O&G since 2002 and was attached to various hospitals in Selangor and Seremban. He obtained his specialist training in University of Malaya where he received a master’s degree. He also passed the specialisation examination from the United Kingdom and was awarded the Member of the Royal College Obstetricians and Gynaecologist (M.R.C.O.G.). Besides that, Dr. Navdeep has special interests ranging from minimally invasive endoscopic procedures, including laparoscopic hysterectomy to management of infertility including I.V.F. He was trained in Laparoscopic Surgery in India and obtained a Fellowship and Diploma in Minimal Access Surgery, a programme accredited by the Society of American Gastrointestinal Endoscopic Surgeons. He also attended a course at The National University of Singapore for Assisted Reproductive Techniques. He is a member of the American Society of Reproductive Medicine and World Association of Laparoscopic Surgeons and joined the Academy of Medicine in 2010. Currently, he is the Consultant O&G at TMC Fertility Centre in Tropicana Medical Centre. |

Dr. Nurhazinat obtained her MBBS in Universiti Malaya. Since then, she served in various hospitals such as Hospital Kuala Lumpur and Hospital Tengku Ampuan Afzan, Kuantan (HTAA) to name a few. Besides, she is also an Honorary O&G Lecturer at the International Islamic University of Malaysia (IIUM) for medical students from 2004 until 2008.

Dr. Surinder is the Head of TMC Fertility Centre. He has been instrumental in growing the fertility centre via its network of branches in Kuala Lumpur, Johor Bahru, Kuantan and Penang, while maintaining an efficient delivery of services and high success rates. He and his team have been able to successfully elevate ART pregnancy rates locally to those comparable to leading international fertility centres, with clinical pregnancy rates of over 60% per embryo transfer. He has also been responsible for introducing innovative new techniques such as comparative genomic hybridization (CGH) for genetic testing of embryos. With over 18 years of experience, he is well versed on all aspects of fertility and reproductive laparoscopic surgery. He lectures extensively both locally and abroad on fertility. In addition, he has published several papers in various international medical publications. He is very active in the development of fertility treatment in Malaysia and is currently the President Elect of the Malaysian Society of Assisted Reproductive Technology (MSART). |
